Since June 2020 our team have worked hard on the every child matters campaign. This isn’t limited to just free school meals for any child during school holidays or lockdown. This extends to our Christmas campaign, our Easter campaign; and currently our white feather computer project.
Here at the white feather project, we know that every child needs not just to be given a picture, but the tools to create whatever picture they want.
Basics such as food is taken for granted but even in our country, in our community and our Teesside there is high levels of child food poverty. We want to ensure no child goes hungry, no child goes without the tools to educate or the little things that children should get like Easter bunny, birthday gifts and Christmas presents.
With the creation of our white feather baby project we have already helped 100’s of parents get set up with their new babies, helping with cots, prams and even nappies. Our new shop opening soon will allow us to reach a lot more families in need and really help a child from birth get off to the best start.
